Salve c'è qualcuno che mi può dare una mano? ho un D-Link dsl 200 Rev B1 ho ubuntu 9.10 e ho seguito alla lettera la vostra guida, ma non riesco a connettermi questo è quello che mi dà

Scusate la lunghezza del mess. ma non sono pratico e non vorrei ometter particolari importanti..
Ciao! Sono abbastanza nuovo del forum e volevo porre un quesito. Ho già scambiato qualche mess. su "internet , connettività e reti" ma non ne siamo venuti fuori. Riassumo tutto:
Ho installato Ubuntu 8.04 (LTS alternate, PC standard) e poi ho cercato di installare il modem per connettermi ad internet. Ho seguito la guida "HardwareModemAdslEciAdsl" nel sito. Dopo vari problemi (risolti nell'altro topic) ho installato: il pacchetto build-essential e linux-header relativi al mio kernel.
Ho controllato il mio modem, ed è supportato: modem Kraun ADSL USB.
Ho quindi scaricato nella Home eciadsl-usermode-0.12-tar.gz e eciadsl-synch_bin.tar.bz2.
Li ho scompattati, installati e spostato i file .bin (esattamente come dice la guida).
A questo punto ho digitato:

.. e non mi appare la schermata di configurazione ma mi dice:

allora cercando trovo la guida di questo topic e cerco di seguirla: scarico ed installo eciadsl-usermode_0.12-1_i386.deb (che si installa senza farlo da terminale).

Non mettere l'ip statico, con i chip della globespan non funzionano, rifai la configurazione testuale, saltando i dati dell'ip statico.
Poi controlla il file resolv.conf, che effettivamente contenga i tuoi dns.
Per vedere il file resolv.conf :

Ciao, intanto grazie x l'aiuto, ho reinstallato ubuntu e rifatto tutto configurando come mi hai detto. Poi ho controllato il file resolv.conf, e contiene dns. Il problema è che ci mette tanto (15 min) a sincronizzarsi (è normale?) e poi si blocca al punto 4.5 Connecting to provider. Ho provata a lasciarlo anche parecchio tempo ma niente...
Ps. non ho installato il pacchetto pppoe (io non ho pppoa? scusa l'ignoranza....)

Ciao, intanto grazie x l'aiuto, ho reinstallato ubuntu e rifatto tutto configurando come mi hai detto. Poi ho controllato il file resolv.conf, e contiene dns. Il problema è che ci mette tanto (15 min) a sincronizzarsi (è normale?) e poi si blocca al punto 4.5 Connecting to provider. Ho provata a lasciarlo anche parecchio tempo ma niente...
Ps. non ho installato il pacchetto pppoe (io non ho pppoa? scusa l'ignoranza....)

Fallisce la sincronizzazione, fai sudo eciadsl-doctor, cosi vediamo se dice qualcosa di più.

Ho fatto un pò di ricerca sul forum di eciadsl, in effetti il tempo di sincronizzazione, è un pò lungo, dic e di provare altri synchbin, prova col numero 9 oppure 11.
Ricorda però, ogni volta che cambi, stacca l'alimentazione del modem per dieci secondi circa, in modo che si azzeri e si svuoti la cache temporanea, dove tiene memorizzato, per il tempo della connessione, il synch.bin prescelto.

Ossia dopo vari tentativi di connessione, su vari canali, smette. Durante questi tentativi di connessione, la luce del modem (quella dell'adsl) passa da  lampeggiante a fissa.......

e da dove li prendo i due file???

Apri il terminale, poi scrivi, prima, cat /etc/resolv.conf, e poi copia il risultato una volta dato ok, e per il secondo, cat /etc/eciadsl/eciadsl.conf, e anche quà una volta dato ok copi e incolli.
Il comando cat serve per leggere il contenuto di un file di testo in generale.
