quando posti output così lunghi usa il tasto Code,copi l'output del terminale clicchi su Code e lo incolli in mezzo,puoi anche modificare i post che hai fatto e inserirli nel Code,se no sono messi così si fa fatica a leggerli oltre ad occupare un sacco di spazio per niente.

a ok scusate ma è da poco che utilizzo il forum e quindi determinate cose non le so xD grazie a entrambi, comunque una volta effettuato l'autoremove è rimasto tutto come prima... qualche suggerimento? oppure pensavo ad esempio di scaricare il CD di ubuntu 12.04 ed effettuare l'aggiornamento della versione da li... questo causerebbe dei problemi o delle perdite di qualche file?

salvati i dati che ti servono su un supporto esterno e reinstalla,e non aggiungere repo esterni,perchè secondo me, tutto il casino te l'ha creato il repo di Mint.

è probabile che tu abbia il doppio repo, sia di mint che di ubuntu, elimina tutti i repo di mint,
poi riavvia,
reinstalla la lingua it dai repo di ubuntu,
poi riavvia, (per impostare la lingua di sistema è necessario il riavvio - uno dei pochi casi in cui è necessario riavviare)
e poi speriamo bene.

è impossibile che Ubuntu non imposti la lingua ita,
non volendo hai fatto o non hai fatto un passaggio necessario,
devi x forza "ripulire" tutto il sistema da mint ,
"rimuovi tutto quello che è mint"(che personalmente ritengo na zozzata), compresi ambienti e repo, che sicuramente avrai doppi, poi,
devi reinstall la lingua ita,
tutti i pacchetti,
e impostarla come predefinita (facendo anche lo spostamento della lingua ita prima della ing, nella tendina del programmino grafico di impostazioni lingua).
Comunque è sempre meglio re-installare la nuova versione se non si è veri esperti,
(questo è vero x tutti i sistemi da windows tutti gli unix, compresi mac e i linux)
l'aggiornamento di versione non è una passeggiata, tanto + da mint.

Purtroppo, è la miglior cosa,
anche io non essendo un esperto, nella tua stessa situazione,
ho re-installato, quando feci lo stesso errore, mischiare una mint con Ubuntu.
Poi così, è tutto più pulito.

Ciao a tutti, anch'io sono nuovo su questo forum e in generale su ubuntu e ho quasi lo stesso problema. premetto che ho instalalto ubuntu desktop 12.04 su una vm sotto windows7 per fare alcune prove di "laboratorio". volevo installare LAMP e anche a lingua in italiano ma qualsiasi comando vado a dare mi viene sempre fuori E: Unable to locate package
Mi consigliate subito di reinstallare tutto da capo o posso provare qualcosa ?
