Salve, ieri sera per sbaglio invece di spegnere il pc (ubuntu 14.04 installato su hd usb) l'ho messo in sospensione e intanto mi sono allontanato a fare delle robe. Poi tornando, avevo dimenticato che era in modalità sospensione e pensavo che fosse spento, quindi ho spento l'interruttore dell'alimentatore. Nel riaccenderlo, per qualche secondo il led del tasto power ha lampeggiato come durante la sospensione. Io ho premuto f11 per avere la schermata della selezione della periferica di boot, ma il pc è rimasto bloccato sulla schermata iniziale (il logo della scheda madre) e si è bloccato. Ho premuto power a lungo, quindi ho riavviato (questa volta con windows 10, senza premere f11) e, a parte una lunga pausa nella schermata col logo, il sistema è partito. Nel riavvio successivo, anche ubuntu è partito ma mi ha segnalato errore interno ed errore di sistema, windows 10 invece va benissimo. Ho poi scoperto che la periferica bloccata era una chiavetta usb (ed è rimasta bloccata anche dopo un lungo spegnimento del pc): tolta e rimessa la chiavetta, il sistema si avvia normalmente, ma ubuntu mi dà ancora i messaggi di errore (per il resto pare che funzioni bene).
Devo reistallare ubuntu?
Potrei aver fatto qualche danno hardware?

Ma il computer è un portatile? Quando hai tolto la corrente, funzionava la batteria, oppure hai sempicemente tolto alimentazione bruscamente ad un computer in sospensione?

Comunque, prima di pensare ad una reinstallazione del sistema operativo, prova a vedere i log di sistema sia syslog che dmesg, magari potresti avere qualche indicazione se c'è qualcosa che non funziona tanto bene.

Fisso, ho tolto alimentazione ad un computer in sospensione.
Come faccio a vedere quei log?

E come faccio a saperlo?
Prova a postare la lettura dei tuoi log almeno.

Prova a cercare qualcosa che si riferisca a problemi sul disco fisso, sull'alimentazione (ACPI) o comunque, qualunque messaggio di errore che abbia una gravità pari o superiore a WARNING.

Scusa, ma per quale motivo non posti direttamente l'intero log? C'è qualcosa che non puoi postare? Ti raccomando comunque l'uso dei tag code, perchè questo genere di log, di solito sono molto prolissi.

Devi postare anche il syslog, li i log sono più estesi e magari si capisce qualcosa di meglio.

In ogni caso, dal dmesg che hai postato, sembra tu abbia un digitale terrestre connesso al computer, prova a toglierlo e vedere se migliora qualcosa.

C'è inoltre questo log che potrebbe essere sintomo di problemi:

UPDATE: ora non mi ricompare nessun messaggio. Sembra tutto normale, a parte forse che il dopo il login il desktop rimane vuoto (senza icone) un po' più del solito.
