Testare MySQL
Ora per testare la vostra installazione di MySql digitate in un terminale:
mysql -u root -p
ed a richiesta inserite la password precedentemente scelta.
Se riuscite ad entrare nel client MySql ( il terminale vi mostra sulla riga: mysql> ) è tutto ok, uscite digitanto \q seguito da Invio.
Se invece ci sono problemi con la password di root potete inserire il comando per resettarla:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure mysql-server-5.1
Riprovare quindi ad effettuare il test.
