si spiega anche come attivare diverse risoluzioni tra le due uscite ....

Si beh, io uso il dual Monitor e ho l'xorg.conf pronto per l'utilizzo, basta decommentare qualche riga e via :)

Comuqneu tornando al rpoblema di Gustav vediamo di procedere con ordine.

Allora innanzitutto che scheda video hai?

Lancia il comando fglrxinfo e dimmi cosa dice.

Vai in Synaptic, fai una ricerca con fglrx e dimmi quali pacchetti hai installati.

Posta il contenuto del file /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Poi cominciamo a ragionarci su e vedere di sistemarti la scheda ^^

Allora da Ati control impostando il secondo monitor come primario adesso riesco a vedere perfettamente il desktop sulla tv... ma sul monitor vedo il desktop alla risoluzione della tv.. infatti se provo a impostare una risoluzione piu alta il desktop va fuori sia dalla tv ke dal monitor..  con xp mi capitava anche e ricordo che disattivando la tv-out il monitor tornava come prima.

Da Ati Control e fireglcontrol posso disabilitare la tv... ma quando riavvio X.. la tv-out si attiva lo stesso..

Ho provato a mettere Option "NoTV" "yes" ma non cambia assolutamente nulla.. impostato su "no" o commentato non cambia praticamente nulla.

ho letto la guida del DoppioMonitor per le diverse risoluzioni..ho provato il Virtual ma non cambia praticamente nulla xkè va fuori dal Desktop...

Se invece da Ati control imposto il primo monitor come primario... ho l'effetto contrario ma sulla tv i colori si vedono bene mentre sul monitor a malapena riesco a leggere

Allora, io non ho la TV sulla scrivania quindi non posso verificare, però ti consiglio una metodologia che ho usato per sistemarmi xorg.conf ad hoc: usa fglrxconfig ma provando di volta in volta a variare le opzioni che ti interessano, e salvando il file risultante senza sovrascrivere il tuo xorg.conf, poi fai un po' di prove con i vari conf ottenuti e fai un bel collage delle sezioni dei vari file con le iompostazioni che più ti aggradano :p

è uno sbattimento, neanche tanto poi, ma così almeno riesci anche a capire come funziona il file e ad adattarlo al meglio sui tuoi desideri :P

Ho risolto spegnendo il pc, staccando il cavo dalla tv.. e accendendo il pc! Dovro' fare sempre cosi?!!?

Cmq.. adesso funziona tutto(fino ad ora) tranne la pinnacle... con kdetv riesco a sentire l'audio ma il video non lo vedo... su xorg.conf ho aggiunto Load "v4l" e Load "v4l2" per sicurezza ma non parte...

Sulla shceda Tv non so come aiutatri :|

La mia è andata al rpimo colpo (Pinnacle PCTV) e quindi non sono stato a cercare in giro al riguardo :/
