Perché hai eliminato tutti i file .rules?

Bastava cancellare soltanto il file 50-libsane-extras.rules che avevi aggiunto nel precedente tentativo

Ho provato a modificare il file etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf
aggiungendo alla fine queste 2 righe

Ho ottenuto il parzialissimo successo di far accendere la luce dello scanner, farlo ronzare un po' ma non è partito...
per spegnerlo però ho dovuto premere il tasto off... (bad)

Ottimo, sei riuscito a far comunicare in qualche modo il pc con lo scanner

Facciamo una prova. Accendi lo scanner e collegalo al pc. Subito dopo apri un terminale e digita:
