Non credo per questioni economiche (ad Aver costerà un centesimo in più!) ma per evitare interferenze con il telecomando del setupbox
Ok, capito. Però teoricamente se avesse avuto il sensore avrei potuto controllare il PC con un telecomando qualsiasi?

Però mi sembra che il supporto per l'IR ci sia nell'ultimo driver...

Probabilmente bisogna aggiornarlo con il supporto per il telecomando RM-KS (quello fornito con alcuni modelli della a835)
Per quando riguarda il mio telecomando (RM-KS) non funziona con nessun software su Ubuntu 13.04 e firmware v.02. Mi chiedo se questa patch trovata in rete sia già stata integrata nel kernel e se si perché non funziona correttamente?

Se usa lo stesso protocollo (NEC mi pare) probabilmente qualcosa potrebbe ricevere...

Si il telecomando RM-KS è inserito nel kernel...anche i setting: http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/dr ... ks.c?v=3.8

Girando in rete ho trovato un repository su github appartenente probabilmente a OPENELEC (l'OS per media center per intenderci). Ci sono altre versioni del firmware. Non avendo seguito lo sviluppo del firmware non so quali siano i cambiamenti, magari tu xgaz potresti darmi qualche info più approfondita. Non è che il telecomando sia una priorità, ma dato che nel vecchio driver funzionava con un workaround, adesso che abbiamo il driver per cosiddire "ufficiale" non funziona. Ciao e grazie.

Quelle versioni di firmware, specie la versione -03 e -04, sono nuove anche a me e non mi pare che il driver le supporti. Forse erano "esperimenti" di Steven Raue; fw estratti da altri driver (vedi Hauppauge) per testarne il funzionamento con le AF9035...

Nel vecchio driver era stato molto semplice "innestare" il supporto al telecomando rm-ks in quanto il codice era molto simile, se non uguale a quello dell'af9015 (il supporto per rm-ks è tuttora presente nel driver af9015)!

Ora i due driver sono diversi a livello di codice e la parte che controlla l'ir è molto diversa.

Magari è una cavolata aggiungerci anche il nostro telecomando; ma purtroppo non arrivo a tanto...

In pratica l'errore della versione "DP7" l'avevamo ricondotto alla doppia inizializzazione del tuner mxl5007, datagli sia dal firmware che dal driver...questo in fase di scansione o cercando di sintonizzare un canale dava questi errori:

Ho la possibilità di provare tre chiavette sky con luce blu (2x DP5 e 1x DP7), di cui solo una DP5 dà l'errore riportato sopra... :muro:
Testato su kernel 3.2.0 con gli ultimi media build, su kernel 3.11.1 senza aggiornare i media build e su kernel 3.11.1 con gli ultimi media build aggiornati, il tutto su ubuntu 12.04 con firmware preso dal sito di Xgaz.

Tuner MaxLinear MxL5007T e interfaccia Afatech AF9035B-N2

Kernel 3.8 e come unica operazione effettuata l'inserimento di dvb-usb-af9035-02.fw in /lib/firmware.
Devo dire che funziona veramente bene con livelli medio alti di segnale.

Moduli autocaricati:
mxl5007t, af9033, dvb_usb_af9035, dvb_usb_v2, dvb_core, rc_core


Sinceramente mi ha stupito che non funzionasse out of the box o con i firmware per chiavette installabili dai repository.
Quella che si è rotta è molto meno diffusa e andava con quelli, senza operazioni manuali.
Tirato fuori da uno degli scatoli nel ripostiglio questa chiavetta e la brutta sorpresa... sgugolare...

Per i possessori della 12.04 con ancora il kernel 3.2:

Ciao a tutti,
Sto seguendo le operazioni descritte per installare una chiavetta AF9035 (modello SKY BLU), e dovrei fare coesistere anche una scheda TBS 6981 per il SAT, ma ognivolta che scarico i firmware di uno dei 2 , o vede uno o l'altro e non riesco a fare andare tutte 2 assieme.

Qualcuno a qualche suggerimento

UBUNTU 13.04 amd 64 KERNEL 3.8.0-32-generic su processore intel dualcore E6600 8 Gb di RAM
driver XGAZ per AF9035
driver sito ufficiale TBS 6981 con procedura descritta in README e FAQ

Spero in voi perchè è un pò che ci lavoro

Innanzitutto devi postare il log del kernel, possibilmente prima di salvarlo prova prima una, poi l'altra e poi entrambe); in ogni caso verifica che non sia un problema del software che usi per vedere la TV, che ne prende solo una.

salve ho appena aggiornato a 13.10 e sorpresa la mia chiavetta dvb non va piu ! nonostante le immense fatiche anni or sono per farla andare ora sono di nuovo . e a capo .... perciò chiedo dando lsusb mi da:

Non hai installato bene il firmware di xgaz, assicurati di averlo copiato in /lib/firmware e che si chiami dvb-usb-af9035-02.fw, poi attacca la chiavetta e la lucina blu dovrebbe accendersi. Per l'altra scheda non trovo nulla di rilevante, prova a mettere questo firmware e poi si vedrà.

Ciao Raimondo, mi pare che non sia più necessario fare tutta la trafila di media_build, ecc... Scarica semplicemente il firmware di Xgaz, assicurati che si chiami come ho scritto nel mio messaggio precedente a un altro utente e mettilo in /lib/firmware (ti servono i permessi di root, puoi aprire un file manager con i privilegi di root col comando sudo nautilus o sudo dolphin se usi Kubuntu).
Inserendo la chiavetta dovrebbe accendersi la lucina (se ce l'ha), e il log del kernel (che ottieni con dmesg) non dovrebbe dare errori.

Apro questo nuova discussione per segnalare che è stato ripreso lo sviluppo del driver per le periferiche DVB-T basate su chipset AF9035

Queste periferiche, che comprendono tutta la serie Avermedia A835/B835 (HD, HD PRO, GREEN) e la serie Avermedia A867 (Sky digital key "led blu"; Volar 3D; Volar HD Nano), hanno un buon rapporto qualità prezzo e sono molto diffuse in Italia poichè distribuite dai maggiori negozi di elettronica o fornite dal maggior gestore di pay-tv satellitare per la visualizzazione del digitale terrestre sui suoi set top box satellitari..

Vi propongo perciò la nuova versione del driver e nuovo firmware; sviluppata da Antti Palosaari ed integrata da Hans-Frieder Vogt, Michael Büsch  e, non ultimo, il "nostro" Gianluca Gennari.


Il driver è in sviluppo e si è evoluto in questi giorni a forte velocità; merito, oltre alla risaputa bravura di Antti Palosaari, anche dalle esperienze maturate dalle mie patch (riviste e corrette da gennar1) e dai driver alternativi di cui Hans-Frieder Vogt e Michael Büsch avevano iniziato uno sviluppo parallelo...

Ci servono perciò le vostre esperienze poichè il driver non è stato testato con tutto l'hardware che potenzialmente potrebbe supportare; mancano ancora molte periferiche e dei test approfonditi specialmente per quanto riguarda il funzionamento sui canali VHF, ancora presenti in Italia (principalmente RAI)

Come procedere:

1) Scaricate e compilate gli ultimi driver v4l:

fermate con CTRL+C appena comincia a compilare (righe con CC,...)

2) Installate il driver:

3) Installate il nuovo firmware:

Riavviate...

indica che la pennetta è stata riconosciuta e settata correttamente...

Ora potete provare il nuovo driver con qualsiasi player per DVB-T (Kaffeine, me-tv, VDR, Mythtv,...)

Io consiglio, per una veloce prova, l'accoppiata w_scan + VLC ;)

cioè ti riferisci a questa guida? con questo firmware : dvb-usb-af9035-02.fw?

Con kernel 3.8 e chiavetta sky (blu) basta prendere il firmware e ficcarlo in /lib/firmware.

Ragazzi grazie delle risposte ma purtroppo io ho un'altra penna....come quella belletto...allora vi spiego la situazione:

io ho una AVerTV Volar Green HD (A835B) con ID (dato da lsusb):

Avevo seguito inizialmente la guida che apre tutto il post e nn funzionava, poi ho fatto la patch:

Ho una prima domanda: Qual è il file da patchare che chiede dopo il comando patch -p1 < Support-Avermedia-A835B.patch ? (ho fatto bene a ripassare Support-Avermedia-A835B.patch? )

Poi ho trovato questa discussione:

solo che nn esiste più questo link.
Poi al post precedente mi è stato risposto che nn servono più i media_build.
In questo grande caos mi sono un po perso.

Mi sapreste dire quale guida devo seguire o che passi devo fare per risolvere il problema?(perche dalla patch mi sembra che la mia chiavetta rientri ).
