Ciao a tutti sono molto amareggiato perchè non riesco a far funzionare nessuna maledettissima webcam su ubuntu...

ho un hp pavilion dv6000 e non va la sua webcam di base.. oggi compro un creative webcam vista e non va....

non so che fare datemi un aiuto vi prego non ce la faccio piu...

anche tu però...compri roba che non controlli nemmeno se è supportata,si chiama creative VISTA e poi ti lamenti se non va su ubuntu...

Al massimo prenditela con il produttore che  non distribuisce driver per linux

ma vista intendevo il nome.. cioè la cosa è strana praticamente sul settaggio audio video di amsn va me la riconosce e tutto poi mi collego con mio fratello e va.. e poi non va con nessun altro...

stava in offerta a sette euro con microfono e cuffie compresa.. non potevo non prenderla...

cioè camorana non va mercury messenger non va solo amsn a volte non la riconosce.. bahh

lo so che vista è il nome della cam...proprio perchè l'hanno chiamata vista vuol dire che l'hanno fatta pensando esclusivamente a software microsoft...specificatamente per vista magari...

o sia la web microdia integrata che quella esterna ora che ho comprato... non so che dirvi appena attacco la creative mi si accende ma non so che fare perchè non funziona

ho anche io la creative vista e ho risolto così:

collega la webcam al pc poi da terminale:

Codice: Seleziona tutto
sudo apt-get install subversion


poi

Codice: Seleziona tutto
svn co svn://rastageeks.org/svn/ov51x-jpeg/trunk webcam-driver


ora hai scaricato una cartella entraci con:

Codice: Seleziona tutto
cd webcam-driver


poi digita

Codice: Seleziona tutto
make


poi ancora

Codice: Seleziona tutto
sudo make install


rimuovi il file ov511 con

Codice: Seleziona tutto
rmmod ov511


carica il modulo installato:

Codice: Seleziona tutto
sudo modprobe ov51x-jpeg


adesso apri la webcam con camorama o con vlc

se apri con vlc fai:

Codice: Seleziona tutto
vlc v4l:/dev/video0


scudate per la lunghezza del post ma è abbastanza lungo il modo di installazione :D

poi fammi sapere se sei riuscito  8)

guarda sei stato veramente un dio cioè ora la web mi da il segnale rosso e se la apro con camstream mi funziona alla grande.. con camorama no e adesso ti spiego anche il motivo.. camorama riconosce ancora la vecchia web e praticamente appena non la trova non parte e si toglie.. come faccio io ad eliminare la vecchia web???? il dev0 devo toglierlo in modo che riconosce solo la nuova web non so se mi sono spiegato..

sinceramente io ho avuto problemi con camorama e perciò l'ho disinstallato tempo fa e quindi non so come aiutarti...se vuoi prova ad eliminare video0 ma non so se risolvi...io ti consiglio di eliminare camorama e di usare vlc o gqcam...

amsn non va non mi fa partire le videocomunicazioni aspetto semrpe come togliere la vecchia web
