Problema col refresh della TV

Salve,
ho un problemino con l'uscita video della mia Ati 9200se installata su un serverino con la 5.04 hoary.
Credo/spero sia solo un problema di refresh (ho installato la distrib su un monitor LCD e ora utilizzo il sistema con una tv).

Se c'è un comando per poter avviare una procedura guidata per la riconfigurazione del monitor sarebbe di buon aiuto
Ho provato a variare i valori di Refresh fino ad adesso senza successo... Purtroppo nemmeno il manuale del televisore mi ha potuto aiutare...
Qualche consiglio?

xorgconfig lo conoscevo, cercavo un tool per il riconoscimento automatico del refresh del monitor... il problema mi sa che è questo :ermm:

Credo che tu debba cercare i dati relativi al tuo monitor, con google, inserendo marca e modello li ho trovati, e poi inserirli nel file xorg.conf.

Ci ho già provato, ma non sono riuscito a trovare una cippa lippa.
Il modello è il dg2576dt della Telefunken. A parte telecomandi sostitutivi non si trova niente con google
C'è qualcuno che utilizza linux su una tv standard e potrebbe fornirmi frequenze di lavoro please?
O magari dirmi se c'è qualche software per il riconoscimento automatico delle frequenze?

Se vuoi fare una prova, seleziona la fascia di valori immediatamente superiore a quella che hai attualmente, un monitor tv generico dovrebbe avere circa 75 di refresh verticale. Questa è una informazione che avevo letto quando ho cercato i valori per il mio lcd.

Ho preso il log del server X quando in alcuni casi non è riuscito ad avviarsi. In particolare qui avevo usato 15.62 come refresh orizzontale e 50 come verticale, così come dovrebbe essere da standard PAL: [file name=Xorg.0.log.txt size=31069]http://www.ubuntuitalia.it/components/com_simpleboard/uploaded/files/Xorg.0.log.txt[/file]
