Enrique Delgado desde antes de ser músico del Conservatorio ya transitaba en grupos de música criolla, infantil, mexicana y cuanto hay para un jovencito inquieto, hasta que decidió incursionar en lo que le atraía más en ese momento: el rock. No sé por qué la cosa no funcionó, pero entre 1967 y 1968, junto con Tito Caycho en el bajo, Carlos Ramirez en la percusión y el gran Fernando Quiroz (un roquero que venía de Los Zanys) en la segunda guitarra, crearon un nuevo género, algo que yo no me atrevo a llamar cumbia, pero que de hecho es el brillante inicio de lo que ahora se llama cumbia peruana. Por su sonido sicodélico yo lo ubico entre los grupos de rock de los sesentas; no me importa lo que digan los especialistas. Ah, me olvidaba: Enrique Delgado es una de los pocas guitarras eléctricas que tengo en un altar.

We invite all members of the collective consciousness to sample this dank ass edible of love, pain, fear, rage, and mercy. All previous works have been horseshit. Our main goal was to make something even worse than the last two albums and still be able to cash in that million-dollar check.

…and we did it! While we pride ourselves on our borderline-violent commitment to DIY, we must admit that we actually fixed our tape machine this time around and got the album mastered! On our ever-pressing quest to get higher, this album delivers a fully-baked collection of tunes that are more than just 420 friendly but 365 days-a-year-friendly – with no emotions too skunky to puff-puff-pass on.

What sets this dime bag apart from our previous releases is its ability to be literally ground, torched, and inhaled by its consumer… no fricking joke – the vinyl is made of pure gorilla glue hemp. It will both figuratively and physically send THC (tetra hydroponic chromiosynthetic) molecules directly through the stoned-to-bone pipeline for an optimal sonic and sensual experience. This album is safe for virgin ears but we plead you exercise caution.

Higher and Higher Forever is sure to be cherrying throughout eternity.

Trovo solo pubblicità dei preordini dischi delle band, non si trovano facilmente le anteprime dei brani.

@ivantu: non riscontro problemi nella navigazione in Bandcamp, il fatto che se un album verra' a stampato a febbraio e ve ne sia una sola "anteprima" (che poi e' almeno una canzone intera) lo troverei normale, sinceramente. Ce ne sono un sacco di album interi che puoi ascoltare all' infinito, o che son limitati ad alcuni ascolti ma basterebbe chiarire la cache del browser.
