Icone e script
14. Now - you can use any iconset you like. The ones I'm using can be found
here. This is a buildset for the icons, so you must untar the file and run the 'buildset' script within to build your icons.
NOTE: This task will require that the package ImageMagick be installed.
NOTE1: If you are using a BSD - FreeBSD or DesktopBSD, etc., you will need to replace the 'buildset' script found in the 'OS-L-IconSet-Buildkit.tar.bz2' package with the one found here. Run the script with the following command:
~: sh buildscript
When the script finishes, you will have a file in that same directory as the script called 'OS-L.tar'.
root@HeavyBox:~# sh '/home/bartolo/Desktop/OS-L-IconSet-Buildkit/buildset'
This script builds an installable KDE iconset using bash and convert.
Change what you want, add additional sizes, whatever...
Checking for bzip2... found /usr/bin/bzip2
Checking for tar... found /bin/tar
Checking for convert... found /usr/bin/convert
Dependencies met - this script is using:
/usr/bin/bzip2 as compressor
/bin/tar as tar path
/usr/bin/convert as convert path
You get your choice of kmenu icons. If your distribution uses a special naming convention for the kmenu icon (i.e. Mandrake) you should add the special name for the kmenu icon to the build script and submit the updated script to nbargnesi@den-4.com, u_nbargnesi@umassd.edu, or guppetto@msn.com. Hopefully in the future this script will be able to create the correct Kmenu icon for every distribution (I can dream cant I). Check the 128x128/apps/ directory for alternate icons that can be selected as the kmenu icon
Select a kmenu icon from the following choices:
kmenu_apple,kmenu_appleb,kmenu_apple-gball_blue,kmenu_apple-gball_red,kmenu_baghira,kmenu_mdk,kmenu_mdk2, kmenu_redhat,kmenu_suse,kmenu_tux_apple,kmenu_tux,kmenu_happy, and enter it now (case sensitive - dont put (.png) at the end of your selection): kmenu_baghira
Using the kmenu_baghira.png icon as your kmenu icon.
Invalid selection (kmenu_baghira), the kmenu_baghira icon was not found in the .128x128/apps/ directory....exiting...
Come mai?
