Ho scoperto l'esistenza degli Artwiz Fonts, dei caratteri che sembrano fatti apposta per essere inseriti nel mio conky...
Purtroppo non sono nei repository e per installarli ho seguido questa guida del mitico blog di urukrama.
I font vengono installati correttamente e in effetti riesco a visualizzarli da xfontsel.
Il problema è che non riesco ad usarli in conky... :'(
Ad esempio per usare il carattere Courier 10 Pitch facevo semplicemente:
