Compiz-check restituisce Error: Software Rasterizer in use

Ciao a tutti, sto provando ad abilitare gli effetti grafici compiz su Ubuntu 10.10.
La mia scheda video è :

VGA compatible controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 661/741/760 PCI/AGP or 662/761Gx PCIE VGA Display Adapter

Il risultato di compiz-check è :

Ho provato ad editare /etc/X11/xorg.conf mettendo le righe:


Section "Screen"

Device    "Card0"
Monitor    "Monitor0"
SubSection "Display"
        Virtual 1280 960
        EndSubSection

come riportato da qualche forum, ma non ho risolto nulla.
Qualcuno sa aiutarmi perfavore?
