superkaramba e glassmonitor

come da titolo, ho appena installato superkaramba con un applet che si chiama glassmonitor. molto carina e relativamente leggera, ma la domanda e' un altra:
come posso personalizzare l'applet, inserendo ad esempio la rete da monitorare o modificando alcuni campi?

basta aprire il file contrassegnato col simbolo di superkaramba..con un normale editor di testo
se il file ha estensione.skz ..e' un eseguibile ma e' compresso..puoi tranquillamente estrarlo e modificarlo
per le modifiche al codice invece ..di solito si aprono i file .py..ma non e' la regola..dipende da come e' stato sviluppato il tema

oppure devo modificare il file dopo averlo scaricato ma prima di installarlo?

ha ma tu li scarichi direttamente dal programma...non mi ricordo dove vanno..forse in /tmp..
io preferisco scaricarli dalla sezione apposita in www.kde-look.org..scompattarli nella home e poi modificarli da li
se ti interessa cambiare magari da eth0 a eth1 o quelle cose li..basta cambiare il comando che solitamente si trova nel codice in python..e lo stesso per le icone o immagini in generale..non devi modificare il codice..cioe' non serve conoscere il python..

anche a me interesserebbe modificare i temi di superkaramba tipo sostituire il monitoraggio di eth1 con wlan0...ed altre cose...se potete essere più chiari su come fare vi sarei grati....

Il mio scopo è modificare la gestione della rete perchè ad esempio non mi esce l'indirizzo ip e penso sia dovuto al fatto che lui gestisca l'interfaccia eth1...cmq mi interesserebbe sapere in quale file andare a mettere mani per modificarlo...grazie mille

il file e' glassmonitor.theme...il file che mi hai passato va rinominato .tgz o cmq un formato compresso e aperto (io ho usato xarchiver..con ark non funziona)

come giustamente suggeriva divilinux, una volta scaricato e decompresso l'archivio, clicca con il destro su "glassmonitor.theme", apri con .. e apri con kate

la cosa piu' semplice da fare e' fare "modifica - sostituire" e nel campo in alto metti "eth0", in quello in basso metti "ethx" dove x e' il valore della tua rete (nel mio caso eth1 ma potrebbe essere wlan0 o altro).

salvi e chiudi, poi apri superkaramba, scegli la voce "apri tema locale" e vai a scegliere il file che hai appena modificato.

credo di si (non conosco linguaggi di programmazione) pero' una volta capito come ragiona fare modifiche e' semplice
