Problema scheda audio intel su Ubuntu 13.10

Ciao a tutti. Sono passato dalla 12.04 alla 13.10 (final beta) tutto mi aspettavo tranne che non riconoscesse la scheda audio che è una banalissima scheda intel integrata on board

I driver Alsa sono i 1.0.27.1
se do il comando
cat /proc/asound/cards
mi restituisce un errore strano:

Mi viene da pensare quindi che sul nuovo Ubuntu Alsa è gestito in modo diverso.

Per quanto riguarda il problema oggetto del topic, apri un terminale e digita:

Ok, grazie delle info.
Allora al momento non sono più in ufficio quindi lo posto domani il risultato ad gni modo, documentandomi in giro mi sono accorto che alcuni pacchetti di Alsa non erano installati e tramite Synaptic ho provveduto ad aggiungerli.
Successivamente sono approdato in questa PAGINA perchè la mia situazione è esattamente quella descritta.
Ho seguito i comandi che sono indicati:
sudo aptitude install module-assistant build-essential
sudo module-assistant prepare update
sudo module-assistant build install alsa
Qui mi sono fermato perchè Ubuntu mi dice una roba tipo "Install?"
Evidentemente mi manca qualche pacchetto per la compilazione, infatti non riesco a far partire nemmeno un programma (firma digitale di Aruba) che parte tramite un file .sh

Il risultato momentaneo che ho avuto è poter usare ALZAMIXER e finalmente avere l'audio!
In pratica adesso la scheda audio funziona ma continua a non comparire tra l'hardware disponibile (all'interno dell'app "Audio") e di conseguenza non visualizzo nemmeno l'icona del volume nella barra di stato (in alto a destra)

Comuque ci riaggiorniamo a domani quando avrò disponibile il pc del lavoro.

Io non mi sorprenderei se non funziona niente: hai incasinato i repository mischiando release diverse, aggiungendo ppa e attivando i proposed (mi si rizzano i capelli al solo pensiero che hai fatto ciò su un pc da lavoro )

Perdonami ma è normale, avanzando di versione che trovi repository appartenente alla precedente versione, disattivati però
Io sinceramente non ho nulla di incasinato. Tutto ciò che non era compatibile è stato rimosso con l'avanzamento di versione. Non ho conflitti strani e particolari errori a parte quelli già riconosciuti nel bug report (sono su una final beta in fondo)
Per quanto riguarda i "proposed" li ho sempre attivati anche quando avevo Natty e non ho mai avuto problemi.

Non lo so perché sono doppi.
In quella schermata ci sono arrivato tramite Synaptic -->Impostazioni-->Repository

Ma ci si arriva anche direttamente digitando nella dash "software e aggiornamenti" o anche "repository"

Per quello che ne so io si Cioè non è che ci ho messo le mani molto su questo pc a parte installare qualche programmino che necessitava dei suoi repository e mettere la spunta sugli aggiornamenti da controllare.

Ho dato una sistemata nel senso che attraverso quella finestra che ho postato ho eliminato i repository che non andavano bene: Quelli che facevano riferimento alla vecchia versione di Ubuntu e quelli relativi a Libreoffice.
