inpossibile effettuare il login con vsftpd

Ciao a tutti,
Volendo condividere del materiale con alcuni amici ho installato "vsftpd" seguendo questa guida:

purtroppo però, dopo averlo installato dopo aver provato il servizio non mi connette.
In pratica io dopo aver avviato vsftpd  tramite il comando:

sudo /etc/init.d/vsftpd restart

quando vado a digitare da terminale il comando:

ftp 192.168.1.xxx

dove xxx stanno a indicare le ultime tre cifre del mio ip locale

mi compare una voce dove devo mettere i dati di accesso, ora seguendo la guida basta mettere come username  anonymouse e premere invio solo che a me facendo così mi da questo tipo di errore:

perchè non riesco ad accedere, avevo pure provato a inserire la password che di norma uso con ubuntu ma non va lo stesso, mi date delle delucidazioni in merito?

io volevo creare una cartella da condividere dove all'interno di tale cartella ci vorrei mettere delle sottocartelle suddivise per categorie, tipo: film, musica, immagini, documenti ecc, il percorso di condivisione dovrebbe essere questo (o almeno è quel che vorrei riuscire a fare io:

/dev/sda6/ftp

mi date una mano voi che siete più pratici e avevte magari già superato questo genere di probloemi? Grazie di cuore in anticipo a tutti voi.

Comunque ti sconsiglio di abilitare accesso anonimo.. è consigliabile utilizzare invece una lista di utenti abilitati all'accesso.

Grazie, proverò magari a vedere se prima di tutto riesco ad accedere con  "Anonymouse" poi magari vedrò di impostare gli utenti anche se, anche dando un'occhiata al link da te postato, non ho ben capito ancora come si fa. Il mio secondo problema è che, vorrei impostare sull'ftp un percorso, in pratica un disco che uso come archivio dati (/dev/sda6) all'interno di tale percorso (del disco stesso se pur sia una partizione) vorrei creare una cartella di nome ftp dove a sual volta, al suo interno creare delle sottocartelle suddivise per categoria, esempio: una cartella di nome Film, una di nome Musica, Una Immagini e così via...non so nemeno come impostare tale percorso dal file di configurazione oppure se semplicemente basti includere anche il percorso della directory ftp durante la digitazione dell'indirizzo ftp stesso.

Se utilizzi accesso anonimo di default vsftpd dovrebbe usare l'utente ftp per l'accesso, quindi redirige alla sua home directory.

Le soluzioni sono 2:
- cambi la home directory dell'utente ftp al percorso che vuoi te
- imposti anon_root nel file di configurazione, specificando la directory che vuoi te. Se anon_root è specificata, vsftpd non guarda più alla home dell'utente ftp ma cerca di spostarsi lì dentro dopo il login.

ps: nel tuo config file la proprietà anonymous_enable è impostata su No, quindi è per questo che non accedi come utente anonymous

salvando il file di configurazione, arrestando il servizio  e riavviandolo non funziona, ho sempre lo stesso problema.

con l'opzione abilitata dovrebbe farti accedere con username anonymous e senza password. Prova eventualmente a guardare il file di log per capire se c'è qualche altro problema (/var/log/vsftpd.log)

devi settare la proprietà anon_root indicando il percorso.. guarda anche il manuale che ti ho linkato per capire meglio.

no, /dev/sda7 è il device.. tu devi usare il punto di montaggio come percorso. Quindi se ad esempio /dev/sda7 lo monti in /media/disco devi usare:

Io da menu "Risorse"------->Computer  trovo li il disco (al momento è montato, per montarlo io ho l'applet di montadischi sulla barra quindi mi ritrovo il disco montato sulla scrivania ogni volta che monto il disco, ovviamente quando lo smonto poi l'icona dalla scrivania scompare.

Io da menu "Risorse"------->Computer   trovo li il disco (al momento è montato, per montarlo io ho l'applet di montadischi sulla barra quindi mi ritrovo il disco montato sulla scrivania ogni volta che monto il disco, ovviamente quando lo smonto poi l'icona dalla scrivania scompare.

devi controllare dove è montato.. montalo, poi dai:

che dovrebbe mostrarti il punto di montaggio.. oppure penso lo puoi fare anche graficamente, tasto destro sul device -> proprietà e dovrebbe dirtelo da qualche parte.

La cosa migliore sarebbe montarlo in automatico all'avvio del sistema mettendolo in /etc/fstab comunque

se tu hai creato una cartella ftp all'interno il percorso da usare sarà /media/DB37-8BFE/ftp

controlla bene minuscole/maiuscole..
