Ciaoo a tutti!!..ormai saranno un paio di mesi che uso only UBUNTU (b2b)...va alla grande...l'unica cosa è che nn sono riuscito a installare pes6 uffa!!ora vi spiego..
ho 2 hard disk..uno sata e l'altro normale..su quello sata è installato ubuntu sull'altro Xp...ogni volta x potermi fare una partita a pes6 sono costretto a staccare il sata e mettere l'altro...c'è un modo x poter scegliere??
ho provato a spostare l'ordine nel bios ma nn mi da possibilità di scelta...parte direttamente windows!!che fare?????

Da Ubuntu, terminale dai i seguenti comandi e posta il risultato
sudo fdisk -l
cat /boot/grub/menu.lst

Ulteriormente, prova a seguire questa vecchia discussione, potrebbe essere un soluzione.

solo che non succede veramente nulla! attacco i due hard disk sia il sata che l'altro e ogni volta mi parte quello normale con windows!!
non è che me ne intendo tanto...quindi nn so dove mettere le mani  ::) ho provato anche a mettere l'hard disk con windows su slave ma il pc nn riconosce nessun primary master..che fare?
dando il comando da terminale sudo fdisk -l mi da questo:

Non hai copiato tutto il risultato di fdisk, sembra che tu abbia un disco soltanto.

forse è proprio questo il problema..ossia una volta che sono partito con ubuntu attacco l'altro disco ..ma quando faccio fdisk me ne rileva cmq uno solo! se riavvio con tutti e due parte solo windows! il disco sata è attaccato sulla prima porta sata(ho due porte)..e credo nn si possa scegliere se mettere in master o in slave  ::)(sul disco sata nn ho il jumper che si sposta) ???

Lo attacchi a computer acceso ? non so se gli fa bene, per forza non te lo riconosce. Allora con tutti e due i dischi collegati avvia il pc dal cd live di Ubuntu, terminale:
sudo grub
find /boot/grub/menu.lst ti da un risultato tipo (hdX,Y) che tu ricopi sotto
root (hdX,Y)
setup (hd0)
quit
in questo modo sovrascrivi il mbr del disco di avvio col grub

ho fatto partire il pc dal cd..ma il cd che ho io nn ti permette di provare la versione parte direntamente con installa. Forse è una domanda stupida..ho il cd live di opengeu se faccio l'operazione dal terminale di opengeu che cambia?

non cambia niente, è comunque un sistema linux.

ok!allora ho fatto tutto , riparto normalmente, mi da la possibilità di scegliere, ma sia se scelgo ubuntu sia se scelgo windows mi da errore..nel primo caso errore 17 nel secondo errore 13!..ora però è sorto un'altro problema..non mi fa partire x niente windows anche se stacco ubuntu!!che faccio??

sempre con il cd live ridai il comando sudo fdisk -l e postalo, poi con nautilus vai nel disco di ubuntu cerca il file /boot/grub/menu.lst e posta il contenuto. In alternativa puoi scaricare Super grub disk che ci pensa lui.
