[RISOLTO] synaptic non trova nulla o poco piu'

vorrei sapere perche' il gestore grafico non trova il software che voglio installare mentre apt-get lo installa tranquillamente.
ho provato a ricaricare gli aggiornamenti ma nulla >:(
devo continuare ad usare apt-get oppure posso sperare in un colpo di aiuto da parte dell'esperto? (good)

Synaptic vede cio che hai autorizzato in Sistema/Amministrazione/Sorgenti software.

li ho inseriti e li ho anche ricaricati da synaptic ma continua a non trovare alien e wine che dovrebbe trovare. ::)
credo si sia scassato qualche file che non viene segnalato e quindi non funge.

fai in terminale
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
cancella tutto quello che hai e incolla il codice che ho postato, salva e chiudi
poi in terminale dai
sudo apt-get update
e dopo
sudo apt-get install wine alien

forse non mi sono spiegato bene prima. apt-get trova tutto e quindi installa, synaptic non trova nulla e quindi non installa. ok? adesso se faccio cio' che dici non cambia nulla per me poiche' e' synaptic che non funge.

si ma tu fai come ti ho detto io dopo aver fatto questo ti faccio vedere che synaptic torna a funzionare
e se non funziona ancora dai
sudo dpkg-reconfigure synaptic
ma sempre dopo e se e solo se l' operazione da me postata prima non da i frutti sperati

Usa il "cerca", non la "ricerca veloce".

sei stato bravo poiche' adesso funge tutto e non per colpa del tipo di ricerca poiche' ovviamente avevo provato, ma per il reconfigure finale che mi hai suggerito.

tanto per essere precisi, ho riprovato a chiudere synaptic e a riaprirlo. :'( non lo voglio neanche dire ma e' ko nuovamente.
io credo che si debba cancellare e reinstallare. sapete come fare?
