synaptic impossibile aggiornare problemi di lettura?

Da un paio di giorni l'icona synaptic degli aggiornamenti rimane sempre attiva e spostandosi sopra con il mouse appare il messaggio:
error:opening the cache  (E:Read error - read (5 Input/output error)
"Questo significa che in genere i pacchetti installati presentano dipendenze irrisolte" >:(

chiedo il vostro aiuto grazie...

apri un terminale e dai i seguenti comandi:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

e riporta i risultati che ottieni

visto che hai intrepid commenta la riga relativa nel tuo sources.list,cioè questa riga:

ci metti un asterisco davanti così:

per modificare il file devi aprirlo usando questa volta sudo...
