[Risolto] apt-get errore aggiornamenti

salve a tutti, da qualche giorno, forse dopo un aggiornamento, l'icona di notifica degli aggiornamenti mi si impalla ogni volta che tento di fare gli aggiornamenti, restituendomi alla fine una finestra con il seguente messaggio:
E: Errore di lettura - read (5 Errore di I/O)
E: Impossibile analizzare o aprire l'elenco dei pacchetti o il file di stato.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

ma non ha sortito alcun effetto infatti cliccando sulla notifica degli aggiornamenti mi da questo errore:

e vedere se ti propone qualche soluzione (controlla prima di dare yes cosa ti consiglia di fare)

niente da fare, ho il presentimento che sia un problema hardware più che di ubuntu. qualche mese fa il pc ha avuto dei problemi e ho dovuto praticamente smontarlo tutto per resettare il bios (togliendo la batteria tampone) perchè, non so per quale motivo, non partiva più il bios. infatti ero gia partito con ricerche varie per cambiarlo ma poi smontandolo avevo risolto, anche se ho dovuto formattare tutto :'( :'(

non credo che sia un problema di BIOS (però se fossi in te li darei una controllata), leggendo dal tuo ultimo messaggio. Sembra che il source.list non sia affetto da nessun errore. Comunque prova con questo sources.list:

no non volevo dire che è un problema del bios, ma che secondo me il problema di lettura( read error I/O) sta nell'hardware del pc e non nel software o nel S.O.
cmq provo e vi faccio sapere...grazie mille!!!!!

mi sa che , sempre se sia possibile, l'unica possibilità sarebbe ricompilare apt exnovo, però non so come si faccia e nemmeno se sia possibile.

Non penso sia un problema hardware, piuttosto l'aggiornamento di un pacchetto di apt andato male
