In fase di avanzamento da 8.10 a 9.04 mi è uscito l'avviso sul fatto che alcuni aggiornamenti personalizzati sarebbero stati disabilitati con l'indicazione che avrei potuto riabilitarli in seguito, così ho fatto, ma (a parte il fatto che al posto del reposity mi trovo la nuova scritta di commento "disabilitato durante l'avanzamento a jaunty") una volta riattivati mi sono trovato in "Gesrione aggiornamenti" due aggiornamenti fissi e non selezionabili:
-  aggiornamenti della distribuzione:  brasero...... etc.... da 1 MB;
-  altri aggiornamenti: googleearth... etc... da 13 MB.

il mio file    /etc/apt/sources.list   attuale è il seguente:

Apri Sistema→Amministrazione→Gestore di pacchetti Synaptic e seleziona i pacchetti da lì. Probabilmente ti chiederà di disinstallare  qualche pacchetto incompatibile prima di installarti le versioni aggiornate

le ho già riselezionate, sono le penultime due del file che sono già senza il # di commento, ha fatto alcuni aggiornamenti ma mi ha lasciato quello ch vedete nell'immagine

ho risolto dando l'aggiornamento di versione direttamenta da Synaptic, risolto, però chiedo comuque se qualcuno mi controlla la correttezza del file sources.list.

che è esattamente quello che ti avevo detto...

nel sources.list devi togliere le due righe che hanno gutsy all'interno.

Secondo la licenza GPL (usata dalla maggior parte del software di ubuntu), insieme a un programma devi obbligatoriamente dare la possibilità di ottenerne/scaricarne il codice sorgente, per quello ci sono i repo "codice sorgente".
