ciao
ho fatto un errore nella procedura per l'avanzamneto, non ho aggiornato il sistema prima di avanzarlo.
adesso ho questi problemi:
1)da quando ho avanzato, circa una settimana, non mi è più arrivato nessun aggiornamento
2)non funziona l'audio( ho disinstallato pulse seguendo questa guida e adesso almeno in cuffia ci sento

3)se apro il gestore aggirnamenti mi compare la schermata in figura
cosa posso fare per sistemare le cose?

prova a fare l'avanzamento parziale intanto, magari se è un problema di incompatibilità di alcuni pacchetti con la nuova versione basta a mettere tutto a posto...
ol secondo motivo che mi viene in mente x quella schermata è che potresti avere qualche pasticcio con i repository, a me usciva fuori ogni volta mi connettevo perchè agli inizi x sbaglio avevo aggiunto repo di una versione vecchia di ubuntu

Secondo me ti conviene disabilitare tutti i repository non ufficiali, lasciando quindi quelli specifici di Ubuntu. 

prova a postare il tuo file " /etc/apt/sources.list " ...

ciao, mi sembra tutto a posto... nessun repo vecchio attivo o pasticci strani.
Praticamente tolte le ultime righe (che comunque sono commentate) è quasi identico al mio...

Per il tuo problema non so a questo punto cosa poterti consigliare, se non una cosa che probabilmente avrai già tentato ma non si sa mai... prova a dare da terminale oppure da gestore aggiornamenti clicca su "verifica", in modo da riscansionare  i canali software e cercare aggiornamenti disponibili

strano comunque, se anche non avevi aggiornato tutto prima di avanzare avrebbe dovuto farlo da solo in automatico...  :-\

ciao, ho rifatto lupdate per l'ennesima volta e adesso non mi ha dato errori, pur senza avere modificato niente.
non capisco, cmq grazie perl'aiuto a tutti
