salve come si capisce dal titolo vorrei sapere se qualcuno riesce a postarmi la source.list di ubuntu 7.10...ho guardato sul wiki ma non c'è...grazie mille

invece c'è un deb di troppo ... quella giusta dovrebbe essere...

poi come ha scritto Giovedì
devi anteporre "# " alle righe che non vuoi che siano attivate
(di fatto è come togliere la spunta da sorgenti software)
solitamente le sorgenti non sono selezionate, quindi quelle che iniziano per deb-src

cioè io ho anteposto # ad ogni riga che iniziava con deb-src....giusto?

no se faccio sudo apt-get update da tanti errori pure ora.....

beh se non ricordo male build essential è nel cd di ubuntu, quindi devi attivare anche il cd come sorgente... era la prima riga che ti aveva suggerito Giovedì (ma in questo caso la metti senza "# ")

ma ovviamente solo se non ti interessano i sorgenti, altrimenti li lasci attivi

beh in un certo senso capisco... nel senso che i repository che ti ho indicato sono gli stessi che aveva scritto Giovedì, quindi se ti danno errore i suoi, te lo danno anche questi...
non capisco invece l'errore... li stai usando su una distro diversa dalla 7.10 ?...
anzi quasi quasi mi viene un dubbio...
la 7.10 non è una versione LTS, quindi supportata per 18 mesi... (suppongo da ott-2007 ad apr-2008)
forse è per quello...
