Problrma aggiornameto 8.04

Come da topic,
da una settimana a questa parte mi compare l'icona di notifica di aggiornamento, do il via ma mi compare una finestra che mi dice:
non sarà possibile eseguire tutto l'aggiornamento- eseguire un avanzamento di versione ?
E poi non riesco a fare l'aggiornamento ...
Naturalmente per il moemnto io non voglio fare un avanzamento ...
Come mai ??

A me da 30 pacchetti non aggiornati su intrepid, non c'è verso di aggiornarli ???

prova a leggere qui. io sto provando questo metodo.
il problema è dei repository che sono stati aggiunti per avere open office 3 che essendo di terze parti non sono ufficiali.
ho provato a disabilitarli e non mi chiedeva più di fare l'avanzamento parziale.

Ma poi, come ho gia scritto su un altro topic, aggiornando il kernel, non mi fa installare i driver ATI, che invece con il precedente kernel, funzionano a meraviglia, poi mi compare l'iconcina in alto della tastiera inglese, boh.

ho letto l'altro topic e hai gia dato il dist-upgrade e mi sembra di capire che per quanto riguarda i pacchetti sei a posto..il tuo problema e ora relativo ai driver giusto?

Allora tolto l'ultimo kernel, però rimane il problema di openoffice inglese, come fare?
Se commento i repository di openoffice e lo reinstallo? ovviamente non mi reinstalla il 3 immagino, boh, proverò a cercare.
