Ho provato a seguire le guide sul grub presenti sul forum e a leggere le discussioni degli altri utenti in merito, ma a parte uno strano caso in cui il count-down era rispuntato (non so come!!!) dal successivo riavvio in poi è sparito nuovamente. Ho anche installato start-up manager e settato le impostazioni, ma nulla da fare.
Posto di seguito i contenuti del file etc/default/grub modificato con privilegi di amministratore e seguito da update grub2 e update grub (nel dubbio li ho fatti entrambi...scusate:P)
