ubuntu 7.04 che non mi si aggiorna...

Salve, ho un problema a riguardo della versione 7.04 che non mi si aggiorna.
L'ho installata,  funziona, navigo, ma non riesco ad aggiornarla:
parte l'aggiornamento arriva fino al 37 poi da il seg. messaggio:

devi modificare a mano il file /etc/apt/sources.list sostituendo gli indirizzi in questo modo:
http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/feisty-security...........
diventerà
http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/d ... y-security..........  così con tutti gli altri

quindi darai

Non vengono rilasciato nuovi aggiornamenti per Feisty da ottobre 2008. Esegui l'aggiornamento a Gutsy, esegui l'aggiornamento a Hardy (LTS) ed esegui l'aggiornamento a Lucid (LTS) per ottenere un sistema aggiornato.

Oppure formatta e installa direttamente Lucid (LTS), forse fai prima; sei rimasto un po' indietro con le release.

ok, per me va bene anche formatta e reinstalla, ma come faccio senza un cd di installazione???
Potreste darmi una procedura??

facendo come ti ho scritto sopra puoi aggiornare via internet alla versione successiva ( gutsy ) con solo 2 minuti per editare quel file.

Puoi scaricare il CD dalla pagina http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download o ritirarlo presso il LUG più vicino a casa tua http://www.linux.it/LUG (ogni LUG ha procedure differenti, ma è probabile che tu riesca ad ottenere il CD senza problemi).

Effettivamente puoi effettuare l'aggiornamento triplice anche con il link old-releases.
