[Risolto] tasto "esegui avanzamento" da ubuntu 11.04 a 11.10

Salve a tutti!
Ho provato a fare l'aggiornamento da 11.04 a 11.10, ma quando avvio il gestore aggiornamenti non c'è il tasto "esegui avanzamento". Ho letto che dovrei fare ALT+F2 e scrivere update-manager -d. Così facendo si avvia il gestore aggiornamenti con il tasto "esegui avanzamento", ma quando provo a cliccarci sopra la finestra che compare mi dice:

mentre io chiaramente vorrei la versione stabile. E se fosse possibile preferirei non dover scaricare l'iso dal sito e fare un cd per aggiornare. Come posso risolvere questa cosa?

ah, giusto per completare la mia domanda (mi sono accorto che mancavano delle precisazioni): a me era comparso il tasto "esegui avanzamento", solo che avevo pensato di farlo in un secondo momento (aspetto sempre un paio di settimane dall'uscita del nuovo rilascio, per sicurezza) e quindi avevo ignorato la richiesta di avanzamento. Il tasto "esegui avanzamento" è sempre stato lì nell'update manager ogni volta che lo aprivo, è solo da oggi che è scomparso. Inoltre ho già provato a premere il tasto "Verifica aggiornamenti" e a controllare che nelle impostazioni dell'update manager sia selezionato "rilasci normali" e non "solo rilasci LTS" nel campo "mostrare nuovi rilasci della distribuzione"...

-b
