[Risolto] Ubuntu 12.04 ?!?!

Buongiorno a tutti,
cercherò di essere breve. Tempo fa ho aperto una discussione riguardo ad un mio errore nell'installazione, e ancora non so come ho fatto, prima che avvenisse il rilascio ufficiale, della versione 11.10. Ovvio che ho avuto una serie di problemi che non vi dico (c'è un post aperto al riguardo). Oggi vado a fare l'update manager e sorpresa mi dice che la versione che ho io la 11.10 non è più supportata e mi dice di fare l'update alla 12.04!!!!! Mi sorge il dubbio di avere per sbaglio tempo fa installato una versione per sviluppatori.... facendo un cat etc/issue mi da la seguente versione "Ubuntu 11.10 \n \l"... io non sono uno sviluppatore!!! vorrei tanto la vecchia e cara versione per mortali? Qualcuno può darmi una mano?

Qualcosa non va, la 11.10 è appena agli inizi del supporto e non può proporti la 12.04 che è appena agli inizi dello sviluppo.

I repository sono corretti. Apri il gestore aggiornamenti e se ti spunta quell'avviso premi il tasto STAMP e riporta qui la schermata, meglio ancora la carichi su http://imagehost.it e riporti il link

Puoi anche commentarli, ma quel sources.list è in condizioni pessime e prima o poi potrebbero sorgere problemi. Io gli darei una bella pulita (eliminando proprio i vecchi repo).

Ti compare sempre quella schermata, anche lanciandolo senza l'opzione "-d"? L'aggiornamento degli indici non riporta errori, come supponevo, tuttavia per far contenti tutti digita da terminale
