Buongiorno, sono fresco di passaggio da 18.04 a 20.04. Oggi ho attivato l’app per l’aggiornamento del software e mi e’ uscito questo messaggio:

Furthermore run the following command in a Terminal: apt-get install -f
Transaction failed: The package system is broken
The following packages have unmet dependencies:

kodi-data: Depends: python-pycryptodome but it is not installed

) Salve, apri il file /etc/apt/sources.list con un editor come superutente:

Seleziona con Ctrl+A e cancella con Canc o ←, dipende dalle tastiere, il contenuto ed incollaci il seguente:

Salva con Ctrl+S e chiudi con Ctrl+Q.

Aggiorna il sistema e sistema i problemi con i comandi:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Se ancora non installa il richiesto dai il comando:

sudo apt install python-pycryptodome

Riavvia il sistema al termine.

Niente da fare. Reinstallo tutto. Ti volevo chiedere un'ultima cosa: installando subito il 20.04, posso avere all'inizio del boot gia' la schermata iniziale con le icone in verticale sulla sx che a me piace tanto, come succedeva sul 16.04 Grazie di tutto

) Salve, un momento, dal tuo output leggo ora sia Focal che Xenial, letto male prima, ergo se hai corretto il contenuto del file /etc/apt/sources.list non necessiti del reinstallo, poiché t'ho postato il contenuto dell'ultima release Groovy.

Devi eseguire un aggiornamento completo usando il comando:

sudo apt full-upgrade

Prima puoi postare gli output dei comandi per aggiornare dati precedentemente ?

Per risolvere fai partire il files-manager da root ed elimina TUTTO quello che trovi dentro la cartella /etc/apt/sources.list.d e poi ridari il comando di prima

Premetto che quando ho aperto il file /etc/apt/sources.list non avevo proprio niente dentro. L'ho farcito poi con quello che mi hai dato. Siccome sto scaricando il 20.04 e ne avro' ancora per meno di mezz'ora, aspetto a fare il comando di aggiornamento, se poi dovro' fare un reboot. Non hai risposto alla mia richiesta di prima sulla disposizione iniziale delle icone.
