[Risolto] Non trovo win dopo l'installazione dual (adesso il contrario)

ciao a tutti,
ho comprato un pc Dell T5810 con win, ho installato Ubuntu mantic partendo da Win Impostazioni->Aggiornamento e sicurezza->Ripristino->Avvio avanzato->Riavvia ora->Usa a device->Chiavetta con Mantic;
nell'installazione ho scelto la dual: dopo l'installazione tutto bene per Ubuntu ma non so come accedere a win di seguito il comando update-grub, ma non so come accedere a win dato che all'accensione parte subito Mantic

devi abilitare os-prober nelle impostazioni di grub

oppure all'accensione puoi avviare uefi e da li far partire il sistema che vuoi

ho aggiunto la stringa GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false nel file /etc/default/grub e poi il comando sudo update-grub. Al termine ho riavviato il sistema,
ma non è apparsa la schermata del dual boot.

Hai un solo disco o più di uno?

Dall'output che hai postato all'inizio si vede che os-prober è abilitato e Windows viene riconosciuto, ora bisogna capire dove hai installato grub e come hai impostato il boot dal bios.

Fai una prova.

Riavvia il computer e durante l'avvio premi ripetutamente F12 per visualizzare il menu di boot e prova a farlo avviare selezionando questa voce

UEFI: HP SSD S650 960GB HD

Se ti compare grub con la scelta di entrambi i sistemi impostalo come voce di avvio principale nel bios.

Se non sai come farlo lo facciamo da terminale tramite efibootmgr.

se schiaccio F12 lo schermo rimane nero e devo spegnere per farlo riavviare (???) non sono mai riuscito a vedere la maschera di boot come al solito:

Entra nel bios e modifica da li l'ordine di boot allora.

Altrimenti se vuoi usare efibootmgr fai cosi

Trovato il problema.

Modifica il file con

Modifica queste righe così

GRUB_TIMEOUT=10

Salva ed esci dall'editor di testo.

Aggiorna grub
