Errore dopo Aggiornamento - RISOLTO

Ieri come al solito ultimamente mi è comparsa la finestra che mi avvisava di nuovi aggiornamenti disponibili per il mio Ubuntu 7.04 tra cui ricordo anche una nuova versione di Gimp.
Ho fatto scaricare ed installare il tutto in automatico e senza apparenti problemi: solo oggi però mi sono accorto che se provo a fare il check degli aggiornamenti di sistema o ad usare il gestore pacchetti Synaptic mi esce il seguente messaggio di errore:

E: Errore nell'analisi di scribus-ng (NewVersion1)

Cosa è successo e come risolvo??

prova a disabilitare i repository backports...

Ehm....diciamo che sono molto nuovo nel mondo Linux....mi spiegheresti meglio come fare??

Questi sono per la Edgy la 6.10.
Non usi la Feisty 7.04 ?

Ho risolto eliminando appunto i backports dai repository:

ora però mi è venuto un altro dubbio: ecco il mio source list che ho copiato da una guida nei wiki per poter scaricare i codec win32.

il sources.list che hai postato è per ubuntu edgy la 6.10 non va bene se hai feisty ora te ne  posto uno per feisty

quando hai messo a posto il tuo sources.list devi dare i canonici:
sudo apt-get update
e
sudo apt-get upgrade
