Installazione GUTSY Desktop e Problema installazione per tutti i programmi

ciao,
ho installato KUBUNTU GUTSY 7 DESKTOP per pc ma continuo ad avere enormi problemi.
Ho scaricato gli aggiornamenti del sistema prelevati in automatico da security.ubuntu ma al momento di installarli si è bloccato al 50% dicendo che il sistema che carica i pacchetti ha probabilmente dei pacchetti danneggiati oppure è il software stesso che crea problemi.
Ecco la stringa che mi da:
Errore durante il deposito delle modifiche. Probabilmente c'è stato un problema nel download dei pacchetti oppure il deposito delle modifiche potrebbe rovinarli"

Vorrei precisare che non ho altre applicazioni aperte ma solo quella richiesta per l'aggiornamento o solo adept quanto scarico nuovi software

Lo stesso problema ce l'ho scaricando anche altri programmi: appare lo stesso pop up che afferma lo stesso problema.

il più delle volte la formattazione e la reinstallazione sono inutili, se si riesce a capire dove sta l'inghippo. tra l'altro, se non si riesce a scoprire il problema è facile che questo si ripresenti anche dopo un bel formattone

hai ragiuone ma pensavo che il problema venisse dal cd con il software...anche perchè non ho mai avuto problemi con la vecchia versione di linux.....mi consigliate di installare la vecchia?

spesso i problemi relativi al download dei pacchetti sono legati a manipolazioni errate del file in cui sono elencati i repository, all'aggiunta di repo esterni e non ufficiali, all'interruzione di un'installazione, al server a cui si cerca di connettersi che magari è in manutenzione...
per sapere qual è il vero problema bisogna vedere cosa risponde la tua macchina. per cui aspettiamo l'ouput di quei comandi

eh??????  scusa ma non capisco il tuo consiglio!!! :-[  in più ti posso dire che gli aggiornamenti li scarica tutti ma ha problemi nell'installazione ...mi esce infatti il pop up inserito nel primo mio commento

Non so in kubuntu, ma in ubuntu, dopo l' istallazione, rimane l' opzione "Istalla da CD_ROM/DVD", in Sorgenti sofware, che devi togliere, altrimenti ti da errore dato che il CD è stato tolto...
