[RISOLTO] ho sovrascritto fstab sbagliato e non posso riavviare.

ciao a tutti....
sono un emerito pirla.....invece di copiare la parte di fstab creata da me ho sovrascritto tutto il file.
il problema è che nel vecchio fstab avevo la swap e la partizione di root, mentre adesso che ho riformattato ho lasciato la swap invariata ed ho fatto una partizione per root ed una per /home separata....avrei bisogno di sapere cosa scrivere nelle prime righe di fstab prima di riavviare, altrimenti sono fritto. grazie

edit:mettilo come sta nel fstab, non sono sicuro se serve o no ::)

ho guardato afondo la documentazione ma non riesco a capire dove sbaglio......
quando carica mi dice che c'è un errore nel montaggio della /home....
mi date a capire una mano dove sbaglio??

allora....copio a mano il mio fstab dopo aver provato a fare qualche modifica come ho visto nella documentazione......

proc /proc proc defaults
come vedete ho provato a modificare la partizione relativa a /home perche min dice che non la monta.
i puntini tra gli UUID sono messi perchè mi scocciava a ricopiarli per intero, sono da un altro pc ma dall'inizio e dalla fine si risale tranquillamente alla partizione corrispondente, come vedete nei comandi postati su.
nell'hard disk ho le seguenti partizioni:
la prima è la swap
la seconda è la root
la terza è la /home
la quarta si chiama dati ed occupa il resto dello spazio
spero di essere stato il più chiaro possibile

Dalla ricostruzione che hai fatto all'inizio la partizione che ha UUID=84xxxx è la sdc6 e non la sdc5

Se questo è il tuo fstab, è sbagliato, al posto di /dev/sdc5 ci va l'UUID di /dev/sdc5.

Io ti consiglio di fare così. Crei un file /etc/fstab minimale, ovvero giusto le partizioni delle cartelle /, /home, /boot, etc... in modo che il sistema parta. Poi da li ripristini tutto.

Ah grazie! Non lo sapevo, quindi direi che è molto più comodo mettere i devices piuttosto che gli UUID per ricrearsi fstab...
