Salve a tutti ho installato sul mio hd esterno kubuntu 10.10 ma non parte.
Quando avvio kubuntu,metto username e pass esce il riquadro principale dove compare l'icona di un HD,l'icona delle impostazioni e ritorna alla schermata di login.La cosa bella e che quando avviavo live kubuntu le icone nel riquadro principale apparivano tutte(icona hd,icona impostazioni ecc...fino alla grande K[simbolo di kde])
Che faccio?
N.B:Avevo avuto questo problema anche quando avevo installato KDE su ubuntu

dai ctrl+alt+f1, fai il login testuale e

mv .kde kde.old
cltr+alt+f7 per il login grafico

E questa combinazione di tasti quando la dovrei premere? Ma soprattutto, premo ctrl+alt+f1 o +f7 prima?

Alla finestra di login. Hai sette terminali F1-f7, sull'ultimo gira la grafica, puoi sempre cambiare con ctrl+alt+Fx

Ai primi 2 tentativi di spostare ok,ma ho riacceso e quando provo a rifare il comando dice:

Intanto kubuntu ancora non funz

Cacchio quindi kubuntu non funziona e non funzionera mai...Noooo deve funzionare ha funzionato sulla live deve funzionare pure !!!
Dai qualche soluzione c'e vero???

Quale scheda video hai? E puoi provare di leggere il file ~/.xsession-errors dopo il login fallito dal altro sistema.

Si trova nella tua home (file nascosti) sul disco di kubuntu. Dove hai le cartella .kde e kde.old

Credo che prova di usare gli effetti. Apri da ubuntu il file  ~/.kde/share/config/kwinrc e sotto [Compositing]

Quel comando fa esattamente quel che ho proposto: mette "false" al posto di "true". Puoi provare di incollare nel file questo:
