[Risolto] - Comportamento irregolare tasto CTRL sinistro

Salve a tutti,

da diversi mesi ormai il mio Kubuntu ha un problema che mi infastidisce sempre di più.

Il tasto CTRL sinistro non si comporta come deve: la sua pressione genera uno strano segno simile a due punti (vedi immagine allegata), e qualsiasi comportamento atteso di CTRL (ad esempio, una combinazione come CTRL + C) *non* funziona.

Non solo: se premo di nuovo lo stesso tasto, i due punti scompaiono e CTRL funziona come dovrebbe (posso usarlo in una combinazione di tasti, ad esempio)

Alla terza pressione di CTRL sinistro, i puntini ricompaiono e cosi' via in un loop di disfunzione / funzione in cui le pressioni dispari generano i puntini e quelle pari compiono il lavoro desiderato.

Se mentre i puntini sono visibili premo la barra spaziatrice, alla prima pressione sparisce il puntino superiore; con la seconda anche quello inferiore se ne va.

Per quanto sembri una cosa più ridicola che fastidiosa, sta diventando abbastanza insopportabile, perché di fatto comporta che premere CTRL dopo aver selezionato del testo in un editor *cancella* quel testo per inserire i maledeti puntini; se lo premo mentre uso un foglio di calcolo, cancello automaticamente il contenuto della cella selezionata.

Ho provato a rimappare la tastiera ma senza risultati. Qualcuno ha idea di cosa abbia preso al mio sistema?

Ci sta che si è impallato una delle mille funzioni di Plasma. Puoi provare un nuovo utente di test per verifica.

Oppure puoi provare dalle impostazioni di sistema - scorciatoie tastiera a ripristinarlo ai valori predefiniti, è possibile che si sia corrotto il suo file di configurazione.

L'impostazione è in Menù K → Impostazioni → Impostazioni di sistema → Dispositivi di immissione → Tastiera → Scheda Avanzate.

@zartocle quivi arrivato verifica se c'è qualche spunta disegnata tratteggiata, se c'è apri la voce e verifica cosa c'è d'impostato, potrebbe esserci qualche stranezza spuntata.

L'impostazione è in Menù K → Impostazioni → Impostazioni di sistema → Dispositivi di immissione → Tastiera → Scheda Avanzate.

@zartocle quivi arrivato verifica se c'è qualche spunta disegnata tratteggiata, se c'è apri la voce e verifica cosa c'è d'impostato, potrebbe esserci qualche stranezza spuntata.

Edit. non dico che la soluzione da te proposta non possa essere risolutiva, ma non sappia quale sia il problema, per cui io le proverei entrambi, non costa nulla.

Semplice, leggendo nel suo 1° post questo:

Ovvero è il funzionamento del tasto che è sballato.

Non so bene cosa sia successo ma non avevo modificato l'output
Ho fatto di nuovo il test e adesso vedo dei KeyPress event - ma sempre e solo con Multi_key e nemmeno un Control_L
Mi sta venendo il dubbio che la mia tastiera bluetooth fighetta abbia qualche mappatura esotica....

Non mi ricordo esattamente come si fa in KDE ma in qualche modo puoi inserire questo comando tra le applicazioni in "avvio automatico".

Giusto per completezza, hai verificato come indicavo nel mio 1° intervento ? Leggendo che il 2° utente NON ha il problema, mi viene il sospetto che l'origine sia proprio quella che indicai.

Allora, ho controllato adesso ed in effetti ho due spunte tratteggiate che puntano a impostazioni che coinvolgono CTRL sinistro...
1. "Ctrl position -> At the bottom left"
2. "Position of the compose key -> Left Ctrl"


Premesso che non ricordo nemmeno se le ho messe io (né cosa significhi la seconda impostazione) adesso le tolgo

Fra l'altro, ho appena notato che il problema con il tasto è tornato :P Adesso stacco le spunte, ripeto tutto il procedimento e vediamo (l'importante è avere un rimedio quando serve)

EDIT: ho tolto le spunte e il problema è sparito!
