Ho installato Kubuntu 6.10 edgy su un fujitsu siemens amilo AMD64 con sche da grafica ATI RADEON XPRESS M 200,
Ho installato i driver ATI tramite lo script envy,
il mio fglrxinfo:

Module Loader present


Il problema è che il pc un si spegne dal menù di KDE e il monitor rimane acceso
Usando la konsole con il comando sudo poweroff si spenge correttamente

prova a ricaricare xorg.... dovrebbe andare, anche se non uso kde ma gnome

E' un problema dei driver. Installa gli 8.32.5 e risolvi  al 100%
