Crash all'avvio

Premetto che uso linux/ubuntu da pochi giorni.
Se mi loggo come root (come ora) non ho problemi, ma se e entro col mio account, ho subito un crash di non so cosa (finestra bug-buddy) e non posso accedere alle barre di gnome (nautilus funziona). Mi è successo mentre usavo gnome-commander (senza fare niente di strano cmq) e pensavo che un riavvio avrebbe risolto il problema, ma mi sbagliavo.
Vi posto il log del crash, nella speranza che possiate darmi una mano a recuperare l'account o almeno a capire cosa abbia provocato un crash così serio. Grazie.

Aggiungo che leggendo il file .xsession-errors della sessione in crash trovo qualche indicazione in più...
