mount disco dati

Buongiorno a tutti.
Ho ubuntu installato su HD dedicato più secondo HD per i dati.
Dopo anni di impeccabile servizio, all'improvviso un messaggio dice " error mounting ecc. ecc."
Grazie a chi mi potrà aiutare.

Fare il riassunto a parole proprie dell'errore non è il miglior modo di chiedere supporto.

Riporta l'esatta dicitura di errore e spiega dove come e quando si presenta.

Come monti il disco? All'avvio con fstab oppure lo monti quando serve usando il file manager?

Buongiorno
Quando dal menù "File" vado ad aprire il disco dati mi appare il seguente messaggio;
"Impossibile accedere alla posizione

Error mounting system-managed device/dev/sdc1/:wrong fs type, bad superbollo on/dev/sdc1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error"

Questo è quello che vedo a terminale con i comandi che mi hai suggerito;

Da quello che ho potuto vedere c'è una discrepanza nelle informazioni relative alla partizione sdc1.

Nel file fstab sembra essere formattata con filesystem ext 4

/etc/fstab
