[Ati] WoW su portatile con Ati x300

Buongiorno a tutti,
Volevo dividere con voi l'esperienza di riuscire a giocare a WOW con scheda video Ati x300 grazie all'emulatore Wine.
La cosa non è stata semplicissima anche perchè ho appena installato Ubuntu senza avere avuto altre esperienze di distro linux.
Devo dire che occorre una buona dose di buona volontà e pazienza...
Andiamo per gradi..:
1- ho installato wine, ho seguito le istruzioni sul sito ufficiale per poter eseguire gli aggiornamenti all'ultima versione con il tools fornito da Ubuntu (la mia e la Ubuntu 7.10 «The Gutsy Gibbon ») fino ad arrivare alla wine 0.9.58.
2- per i driver della scheda video ho approvato il messaggio driver con restrizioni, la ubuntu ha fatto tutto da sola...(grande)
3- Non ho eseguito l'installazione di Wow ma ho copiato brutalmente la cartella che avevo su windows direttamente nella dir di wine drive_c programmi.
Finito qui, lanciato wine wow.exe funzionava per circa 30 secondi e poi dovevo spegnere il pc brutalmente perchè rimaneva frizzato, ok ecco le modifiche effettuate. (il pc è un toshiba satellite m40 psm40e)

Adesso viene il bello....editate con nano il file xorg.conf che trovate in etc/X11 , ATTENZIONE dovete farlo con il comando sudo da terminale (in pratica come utente root). le righe da modificare sono nella sezione section device la mia è:
