Problema hotspot

Ciao a tutti,

sono nuovo del forum. Mi sono iscritto perchè ho un problema a creare un hotspot sul mio Ubuntu 15.10 (partizione su MacBook Pro) e cercando nel sito non ho trovato nulla di simile al mio problema (chiedo scusa se magari c'era e non l'ho visto).

Il problema è il seguente : andando nelle impostazioni di rete sotto la voce wi-fi , quando clicco su "usa come hotspot" e poi mi ci collego dalla voce "Connessione a Wi-Fi nascosti", la rete non diventa visibile su nessun'altro dispositivo.

Ho provato a installare hotspotd e anche qua sembrava andare tutto per il verso giusto, tanto che quando digito "sudo hotspotd start" mi viene dato il messaggio "hotspot is running " , ma di nuovo la rete non si vede da nessun dispositivo.

Vi ringrazio anticipatamente e mi scuso se ho sbagliato qualcosa nel postare ma mi sono appena iscritto.

Create a wireless hotspot

You can use your computer as a wireless hotspot. This allows other devices to connect to you without a separate network, and allows you to share an internet connection you've made with another interface, such as to a wired network or over the cellular network.

1) Click the icon at the very right of the menu bar and select System Settings.
2) Open Network and select Wireless on the left.
3) Click the Use as Hotspot button.

If you are already connected to a wireless network, you will be asked if you want to disconnect from that network. A single wireless adapter can only connect to or create one network at a time. Click Create Hotspot to confirm.

A network name (SSID) and security key are automatically generated. The network name will be based on the name of your computer. Other devices will need this information to connect to the hotspot you've just created.

Funziona facendo 1) 2) e 3)

Ripeto , facendo quella procedura non diventa visibile a nessun altro dispositivo , anche facendo solo 1) 2) e 3) senza "auto-connettermi" all'hotspot.

Non capisco la frase, facendo questa procedura il pc in cui metti l'hotspot diventa visibile (con SSID uguale all'hostname) ad altri pc wifi

Sul pc hotspot, l'SSID del hotspot deve risultare connesso e dando un ifconfig mostrerà un indirizzo 10 . x . x .1
sul pc client wifi comparirà a fianco al SSID dell'hotspot una antennina e quando connesso avrà un altro 10 . x . x . y

No il problema è che non diventa visibile tramite quella procedura

Sul pc hotspot, l'SSID del hotspot deve risultare connesso e dando un ifconfig mostrerà un indirizzo 10 . x . x .1
sul pc client wifi comparirà a fianco al SSID dell'hotspot una antennina e quando connesso avrà un altro 10 . x . x . y

Sul pc hotspot, l'SSID del hotspot NON RISULTA connesso

poi dai connetti a wireless nascosta e seleziona l'entrata creata prima (a me si chiama hotspot)

e l'SSID = a computer name lo vedo dai pc

ok , così fa esattamente quello che hai descritto , a parte che non ho la scritta Tx-Powe=20 dBm.

Resta il fatto che da altri dispositivi non è visibile.

Devo cambiare qualche impostazione magari per farlo vedere ad altri dispositivi NON linux? I dispositivi Linux la vedono, ma il telefono e un altro computer Windows no

Io rilevo l'SSID e riesco a connettermi da un pc linux, da un pc win7 e da un telefono nokia

(non usare il verbo vedere, dì non rilevo l'SSID eccetera)
