A Aspire 1650: ETH0 e Asus wl167 problemi di connessione (Kubuntu 6.10)

Salve, ho installato due giorni fa per la prima volta una distribuzione linux (Kubuntu 6.10) su un portatile Acer Aspire 1650 con porta ethernet e chiavetta usb wifi Asus wl 167.

Il problema è che non riesco a connettermi ne con l’uno ne con l’altro (eth0 e wifi), il sistema riconosce entrambi ma internet non va.    Aggiungo che sulla partizione di win xp entrambe funzionano.

ETH0 : credo che con il router zyxel 660 hw abbia comunicato perché ho visto nelle impostazioni dei dati che io nn gli avevo dato

WL 167 :  credo la riconosca, fa addirittura la ricerca di reti e trova quelle disponibili ma poi fallisce nel connettersi.

Prima di postare ho controllato il nuovo topic sui problemi Wireless, mi sono fermato al comando iwconfig rausb1 mode managed channel..., con il seguente risultato:

error for wireless request "set mode" (8B06)  :
  SET failed on device rausb1  ; Operation not permitted


continando comando route:

ma sotto nn mi sono comparsi dei risultati
