condividere contenuto HD esterno tramite samba

ciao, cercando di seguire questa guida voglio condividere tramite samba il contenuto di un hard disk esterno, il risultato ottenuto è che dal mio gestore di file, esplorando la sezione "rete" trovo il collegamento al percorso del mio HD,ma quando cerco di accedervi mi chiede username e password, vorrei fare in modo che a chiunque cercasse di collegarsi non chieda nè user nè password, editanto etc/samba/smb.conf posso togliere questa richiesta di autentificazione? se si, come? qui il contenuto del mio file smb.conf

ok, ora da gestore file inserisco username e psw e riesco a navigare fra i file condivisi,ma quando provo ad accedervi dal dispositivo collegato allo stesso router ( un mini pc android con installato kodi) ricevo questo errore "Invalid argument" , può dipendere da qualche configurazione di samba?

Non so dire. Troppi pochi elementi su cui fare una valutazione. Come minimo mi devi far vedere cosa hai fatto sul dispositivo Android per configurare il collegamento verso il server Samba.

Ma non volevi usare gli share non autenticati?

si, esatto ma seguendo la tua guida sono riuscito solamente a trovare il modo di creare un utenza e dargli una password, l'ideale sarebbe consentire l'accesso libero a chiunque, tramite smb. conf posso abilitare questa opzione?

Come minimo mi devi far vedere cosa hai fatto sul dispositivo Android per configurare il collegamento verso il server Samba.
nulla, fino a pochi giorni fa usavo l'app kodi , per esplorare il contenuto di un hard disk ,che tramite collegamento al router veniva visto come server smb, siccome ora ho cambiato hard disk ed il router non riesce a leggermelo sto cercando di continuare a fare la stessa cosa,ma escludendo il router

Di seguito verrà trattata la configurazione del servizio Samba per l'utilizzo delle risorse condivise PREVIA AUTENTICAZIONE al servizio stesso.
La configurazione del servizio Samba per l'utilizzo delle risorse SENZA AUTENTICAZIONE è trattata al post N° 7.
La lettura di tutti i post è comunque consigliata per la comprensione dell'intera procedura.

Assicurati di configurare correttamente le autorizzazioni dei file e delle cartelle sul dispositivo esterno per garantire che gli utenti possano accedere e modificare solo i file a cui sono autorizzati. Monitora anche le impostazioni del firewall per consentire il traffico Samba (sulla porta TCP 445) se necessario. Connections Unlimited
