[Risolto] Problemi avvio wlan al boot

Sto cercando di riutilizzare un vecchio miniPC come server ad uso domestico. Sembra tutto funzionare egregiamente (non ho ancora installato i programmi di cui necessito) ma è sorto il primo problema: mentre la lan si avvia in automatico il WiFi si avvia solo manualmente. Il file /etc/network/interfaces è configurato correttamente tant'è che se do il comando:

ifup wlp2s0

il WiFi si avvia e si connette.
Ho provato a fare uno script da avviare con cron ma niente da fare, se avvio lo script a mano la scheda si connette, mentre cron non ne vuole sapere di farla partire all'avvio anche se per sicurezza gli ho dato un delay di 120 secondi.

Riavvia il pc e prova il wifi.

Se può tornare utile ho notato che al comando ifup mi da un errore ma attiva comunque il WiFi

Modifica la riga del crontab così

e prova a riavviare.

Funziona!! Solo che non ne capisco il motivo, innanzitutto perché si debba usare il comando cron invece di attivarsi all'avvio del SO mentre la lan non da nessun problema e poi perché il comando cron tradizionale non funziona.

Perché i comandi eseguiti da cron vengono impartiti in una sessione in cui non esistono le variabili d'ambiente che generalmente contengono i PATH degli eseguibili.
Eseguendo ifup in cron (o in uno script) non funziona se non viene richiamato usando il percorso assoluto.

Penso che a questo punto potresti anche omettere lo sleep, dovrebbe funzionare lo stesso.

Sul perché la wifi non si attivi automaticamente non so risponderti, mi spiace.
