Ciao a tutti, ho installato da synaptic il pacchetto compiz-extra, ma non riesco a trovare il modo di abilitare gli effetti elencati nella descrizione del pacchetto:

  * 3d: raise windows up off the desktop when rotating the cube or zooming
  * animation: add animation effects to window actions
  * bench: show framerates on the screen
  * border: toggle the window frame on and off

Devi modificare le voci di compiz da gconf. Sul come farlo puoi affidarti o a post precedenti o ai wiki di ubuntu e di compiz..

Ci sto smanettando un po' su, solo che:

- Di default c'è l'immagine ubuntu.png nelle faccia superiore del cubo e un beige pieno nella faccia inferiore.
Come faccio a mettere la stessa immagine ubuntu.png anche nella faccia inferiore?
Il wiki elenca le chiavi images_top e images_bottom, solo che in gconf-editor queste chiavi non ci sono.
Ho provato a creare una nuova chiave images_bottom, ma l'immagine nella faccia inferiore non compare.
Ho provato a rimuovere la chiave images, pensando che fosse in conflitto con quella appena creata, ma non me lo consente.

- Ho messo con successo un'immagine panoramica nello skydome animato, solo che il cubo ruotando la copre quasi completamente; su youtube ho visto video in cui durante la rotazione il cubo si allontana rimpicciolendosi un po' e consente di vedere lo sfondo; il video era di Beryl, ma mi chiedo se non si possa fare lo stesso.

- Un'altra cosa che ho visto in Beryl è il cubo che diventa trasparente durante la rotazione; è attivabile lo stesso effetto in Compiz?
