[Video] [eeebuntu] Problemi risoluzione video

Salve,

spero di essere nella sezione giusta, ho un problema con un netbook, un Asus eeepc 701 4G. Ho installato eeebuntu e mi funziona tutto tranne la risoluzione dello schermo, di default mi da sempre la 640x400, mentre la risoluzione esatta dovrebbe essere 800x480.
Ho già provato a usare sia il sistema normale, tramite le opzioni dei menu, anche a riconfigurare Xorg ma nulla ad ogni riavvio mi ritorna come prima...
Aggiungo che ho fatto tutti gli aggiornamenti del sistema.

Cosa posso fare?

eeeubuntu se non sbaglio non esiste più, si chiama easy peasy

posta xorg.conf e dicci se hai fatto degli aggiornamenti prima di riavviare

Noto in xorg un Virtual 640 880, io per ora ho sempre usato il pannello di controllo.

Noto in xorg un Virtual 640 880, io per ora ho sempre usato il pannello di controllo.

Cmq uso "eeebuntu" la 3.0 base, non eeeUbuntu

prova a togliere quella riga con virtual.

tra gli aggiornamenti c'era qualcosa riguardo a xorg o intel?

l'unica causa potrebbe essere un aggiornamento dei driver video.

che versione di *buntu è?

Per gli aggiornamenti non mi pare ci fosse qualcosa a riguardo la Intel...

Cmq è un problema che c'era sia prima che dopo gli aggiornamenti, praticamente dalla prima installazione

potresti provare con ubuntu netbook remix 9.10, hanno risolto molte grane con i driver intel

Ho provato molte versioni da mandriva a ubuntu (con i suoi derivati) ma sembra che con il mio eeepc faccia i capricci, prima era il wifi ora la risoluzione...  >:(

Il mio modello è il primissimo EEEPC della Asus, 701 4G SSD
