Un BIOS UEFI è necessario per avviare un sistema tramite UEFI. Però consente anche l'avvio tramite "legacy" (modalità di compatibilità)

Un BIOS non può avere quell'interfaccia, tu hai un sistema UEFI.

No, non dipende dalla modalità. Normalmente dovresti ricevere un output come

UEFI is supported
quindi hai un'UEFI e anche il CSM (BIOS Legacy). La scheda madre può avviare sia i sistemi installati in modalità UEFI, sia i sistemi installati in modalità BIOS.
Se hai un'UEFI ma vedi solo la prima riga, immagino che le info nel
sysfs non sono complete.
