K3b non si avvia......solo con terminale!!!

Salve k3b si avvia solo da terminale e non tramite comando icona come gli altri programmi...da precisare ke nn sono esperto... :-[
da terminale è possibile ma esce questo tipo di errore:

è risolvibile?
la cosa strana è ke ho formattato ubuntu e nonostante tutto istallando k3b mi ha dato lo stesso e medesimo errore..come mai? e stranissimo!!!!!! vi prego aiutatemi!!!!!! :'(

Hai provato a disinstallare l'applicazione e a reinstallarla?  Da synaptic o da console?

come posso fare?
scusa e poi come è possibile che una volta formattato mi da lo stesso e identico problema con lo stesso programma? nel senso,che  non riesco a lanciare k3b da applicazioni,e ma solo da terminale...formattando penso che avrei dovuto eliminare i problemi....AIUTOOOO!!!!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Se ti dice che non puoi disporre del lock vuol dire che hai già attiva un'altra sessione di sinaptic.  Controlla bene che tutti i processi di ggiornamento siano chiusi.

Per la seconda dopamda è possibile eccome.  Quello che ti capita può dipendere dalla configurazione non dall'installazione dell'applicazione...

Per risolvere il primo problema:

da terminale:

sudo top

- verifichi quale processo di aggiornamento è attivo (es. apt-get...),
- appunti il numero di processo
- batti K (per kill)
- inserisci il numero di sopra
- confermi e lui lo annulla.

Per il secondo:

Quando disinstalli il programmi con synaptic spunta il purge in modo che elimini anche i file di configurazione. Reinstallandolo, dai possibilità al programma di ricostituirlo.

Comunque, per trovare ed eliminare tutti i file di configurazione residui puoi utilizzare:

sudo dpkg --purge `COLUMNS=300 dpkg -l "*" | egrep "^rc" | cut -d\  -f3`
