[Dvd] K3b non vede il masterizzatore

Ciao a tutti,
Ho installato la nuova versione di ubuntu, e K3b ha cominciato a dare i numeri: quando lo apro compare il messaggio:
"Nessun supporto ottico trovato.
K3b non ha trovato nessun dispositivo ottico nel sistema.
Soluzione: Assicurati che il demone HAL sia in esecuzione: è usato da K3b per trovare i dispositivi."
Clicco configura ma non vede il masterizzatore.
Se riavvio il sistema, invece non mi da errore e vede il masterizzatore, ma puntualmente brucia il disco e si blocca, e al secondo tentativo compare nuovamente il messaggio che non trova il masterizzatore.

Ho digitato sudo lshw -class disk. Compare:

Ho anche provato a disinstallare e reinstallare k3b, ma non è cambiato nulla....
Qualcuno mi sa aiutare? Io non idea di come fare

Meglio con lui cd o dvd -r e non riscrivibili, aprescindere...

Per caso avete kubuntu 64bit? Io fortunatamente mi sono accorto da livecd che non mi vedeva il masterizzatore e ho messo la 32bit, con questa non ho problemi.

No, ho ubuntu 32 bit. E il problema è sorto solo con l'installazione della 10.4; con la vecchia versione non avevo problemi.
Cosa devo fare per risolvere il problema?

Io ho invece ubuntu 64 bit e dopo esser partita l'unità ottica con k3b non funziona neanche in semplice lettura di cd
Con la 9.10 non avevo il problema ???

Cosa succeda nel mezzo delle due situazioni per me rimane un mistero anchè perchè se una cosa funziona..... funziona! se è guasta... è guasta!
Mai successo che nella medesima sessione prima funzioni e poi no e così per le sessioni successive ???

no. lo lancio normalmente con il mio utente. Al primo avvio vede il masterizzatore, se lo chiudo e lo avvio nuovamente mi dice invece che non è configurato....

a me non ha funzionato, avevo già i pacchetti installati, magari tu sei più fortunato

non l'avevo ancora aperto su 10.10, a me funziona  , però mi ha detto che vuole installare flash... che ci deve fare?  :-\ (in realtà io flash 64 ce l'ho già, ma installato direttamente e non tramite flashplugininstaller)

leggendo nel forum inglese ho trovato diverse discussioni riguardo questo problema e diversi consigli (tra cui avviare il pc con un dvd vuoto).

io personalmente ho risolto rimuovendo completamente (con purge) e reinstallando alcuni pacchetti:

ma naturalmente è bastato reinstallarli tutti
ho notato che prima k3b non vedeva nè il masterizzatore cd nè quello dvd, mentre ora li riconosce entrambi; ho provato a masterizzare un dvd e pare sia tutto ok.
