Anche se be sono solo venti e comunque il giorno in cui ha smesso di funzionarmi non ne avevo così tanti, mi sembra starno il nesso tanti ppa -> non va HDMI :nono:

Il problema non è quanti sono (per me 4 esterni sono già troppi), ma cosa forniscano.

Se uno di quelli aggiorna un pacchetto relativo a delle librerie che interferiscono col video o con i driver ATI (e può saperlo solo ATI cosa interferisce con i suoi driver proprietari), quello è di troppo.

Semplice: su software e aggiornamenti > altro software (dove c'è l' elenco di tutti i ppa) poi ho selezionato quelli che non mi servivano e ho fatto rimuovi ;)

si: domenica sera la VGA andava, lunedì ho lavorato su html/js (non ho fatto aggiornamenti), lunedì sera la VGA non andava (rilevava il monitor, lo settavo attivo (sia in duplicato che esteso che singolo) ma non usciva nessun segnale, per curiosità ho provato con l' HDMI e andava!!!!

collega il pc al monitor tramite VGA e digita i comandi:

pacmd list-sinks
Poi, prova la connessione tramite cavo HDMI e ridigita gli stessi comandi. Infine, posta qui i risultati ;)
