Ho un problema con la riproduzione di video su internet, si presenta lenta e a scatti. I video presumo siano in FLV mentre paradossalmente quelli su youtube filano lisci come l'olio. Il flash player installato è 11.2.202.335 ubuntu0.13.10.1.

Quali sono i siti in questine?
Non tutti i siti usano flash..

Un esempio sono i video della gazzetta.

Intanto fai gli aggiornamenti che la tua versione del flashplayer è vecchia.

Dato che nel Software Center non è presente l'ultima versione, come faccio ad installarla manualmente? Ho provato ad associare in firefox il link del download all' applicazione apturl ma non succede niente.

Durante l'installazione hai messo la spunta su installa software di terze parti?
Avrai i canonical disattivati.

I canonical andrebbero decommentati in caso di installazione del adobe-flashplugin, ma tu usi il flashplugin-installer che su tutte le distribuzioni supportate è all'ultima versione:

Non so se ne sei al corrente ma raring non riceve più alcun tipo di aggiornamento:

Flash Player l'ho disinstallato e ho installato quello aggiornato tramite file .deb.

E' giusto quello che hai scritto sotto la voce distribuzione?Hai ubuntu 13.10?

Se si devi entrare con gedit nella spurce.list con privilegi di root cosi:

Fatto. Comunque anche con il nuovo Flash Player ho lo stesso problema.

Anche senza la modifica dovevi avere il flashplayer (flashplugin-installer) aggiornato.

Quello dei canonical è sostanzialmente la stessa cosa, però si chiama adobe-flashplugin

Non è normale che la versione dei tuoi pacchetti risulti più vecchia dell'ufficiale.

Può dipendere dal fatto che non è stata installata direttamente la 13.10 ma è stato fatto un avanzamento di versione?

Dipende, se hai repository esterni in /etc/apt/sources.list.d è molto probabile che con l'avanzamento sia successo pastrocchio.

Devo aprire il sources.list cancellare tutto e metterci quello scritto sopra?

si, ho mantenuto il repository esterno che avevi.
Se ne hai aggiunti tramite comando add-apt-repository, questi sono nel sources.list.d (cartella).
Se hai fatto l'avanzamento e hai tutti questi problemi, proverei una bella reinstallazione.

Per quanto riguarda i driver video, ti conviene mettere gli ultimi driver per schede legacy.
Dopo aver rimosso quelli attuali.
Sono i nuovi driver (per i nuovi kernel, compreso quello della 13.10) esclusivi per geforce serie 5 e serie 6 (anche perché con gli altri vanno da schifo o non vanno proprio e i 225 per geforce 6 non si possono mettere sui nuovi kernel): http://www.nvidia.it/download/driverRes ... x/64926/it
